My Background in Landscaping & Design

Thank you for taking the time to explore my company's website. I truly enjoy being a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I have great pride in being an entrepreneur, and having the opportunity to work outdoors each day enhancing and conserving the overall beauty of our environment.​

 

I grew up in St. Francisville - with its many plantations, plethora of gardens, and many other historic attractions, I truly believe this small town led way to my initial inspiration to be a landscaper. ​I had the opportunity to live in Austin, Texas as a teenager, and moved back to Louisiana to partake in studies at Louisiana State University. I finished my college education with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Southeastern Louisiana University. During my last semester as an undergraduate at SLU, I began to further my interest in plants and landscaping through installing landscapes in new residential neighborhoods in Baton Rouge and Denham Springs. Upon graduating, I turned to the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry to study to become a horticultural specialist.

 

I am a residential and commercial landscape contractor and designer.  In addition, I am a licensed horticulturalist professional as well as being certified as a landscape irrigation contractor through the Louisiana Irrigation Association. I am also a licensed contractor for outdoor structures and home improvements including:

 

• Stucco walls and fences

• Pavements and walkways

• Outdoor patios and kitchen area

• Water features and professional fountains

 

I am currently an active member of the Baton Rouge Landscape Association and take joy in continuing to develop knowledge and inspiration in my field.​  My family and I reside in Baton Rouge. We are members of Most Blessed Sacrament Church as well as St. George Catholic Church and School. My wife, Erica, is a stylist for home, events, and holidays.  We are blessed (and have our hands full) with two amazing boys - Harrison who is 4 years old and Monty who will be one year in April.
